When he's not spending time with his wife and daughter, or working (Navy), JJ is doing CrossFit. JJ was first introduced to Crossfit in 2010 and absolutely loved it. He couldn't do pull-ups or Olympic lifts but he was hooked! Fast forward to today and he looks forward to the grueling workouts. As JJ says, "CrossFit has dramatically changed my life and I love helping people realize the same benefits in their lives." Outside of the gym if there is any time left, JJ enjoys mountain biking, hiking, drinking beer, and hanging with friends.

For JJ, the best thing about CrossFit, besides burpees and yoga pants, has got to be the community. "You get 80 new Facebook friends really fast. But seriously, you actually do create lasting relationships with great people. There's something about spotting someone while they back squat that creates a bond like nothing else."
